1. App Features
BizcardAI provides tools to scan business cards with the camera or from your photo library, extract text and contact information using OCR and AI, save contacts, edit contact details, manage your own card, share contact cards, and optionally save contact information to your device contacts.
2. Accounts and Sign-In
You may sign in to BizcardAI using Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or by creating an account with a valid email address and password.
If you register with email and password, you agree to provide an email address you control, to keep your password confidential, and to complete email verification when the app requires it. You are responsible for activity on your account while your credentials or signed-in session are used.
You may use the in-app password reset feature if you forget your password. Do not share verification or password reset links with others.
3. User Responsibility
You are responsible for the information you scan, upload, save, edit, or share through BizcardAI.
You should only scan, store, or share business cards and contact information that you have the right or permission to use. You agree not to use BizcardAI for illegal, abusive, misleading, harmful, or unauthorized collection of personal data.
4. AI and OCR Accuracy
OCR runs on your device. When you allow Google AI processing in the app, extracted card info is sent to Google AI (Gemini) through Firebase AI to structure contact fields.
OCR and AI extraction are not always accurate. You should review and correct extracted contact information before saving, exporting, sharing, or using it.
BizcardAI does not guarantee that OCR results, AI parsing, contact matching, saved information, or shared information will be complete, accurate, or error-free.
5. Internet and Third-Party Services
Some features require an internet connection and third-party services, including Firebase Authentication (including email and password sign-in), Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase AI, Firebase Analytics, Google AI (Gemini), Google Sign-In, and Apple Sign-In.
Card scanning that uses AI structuring requires your explicit in-app consent. If you do not allow Google AI processing, card scanning is disabled until you enable it in Settings.
These services may be unavailable, limited, changed, delayed, or interrupted. BizcardAI is not responsible for interruptions, data processing delays, or limitations caused by third-party services.
6. AI Usage Limits
BizcardAI may apply daily or periodic AI usage limits. These limits may change over time to prevent abuse, manage service costs, or maintain service availability.
7. Account and Data Deletion
You may sign out or delete your account from Settings.
Deleting your account removes account-related data that BizcardAI stores for your account, including saved contacts, personal card data, and stored business card images, subject to technical limitations, backup retention, legal requirements, and third-party service policies.
Account deletion may require you to sign in again if your session is no longer recent enough for security checks.
8. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use BizcardAI to collect personal data without permission.
- Upload, store, or share information you do not have the right to use.
- Use the app for spam, harassment, impersonation, fraud, or illegal activity.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, abuse, or overload the app or related services.
- Bypass AI usage limits or security controls.
9. No Warranty
BizcardAI is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, error-free, or available at all times.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BizcardAI and its developer are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of BizcardAI after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
